We had an opportunity come up where we could go to a Family Hope 101 that was a time to learn about the who, what, where, why, and how. [We learned how] the Bible speaks to taking care of the orphan, and that’s something that God definitely cares about and wants Christians to actively be pursuing. We found that to be intriguing and interesting, and it was really comprehensive and gave a lot of answers. It was the first step to really set us off on our journey of foster care.”
